Activities

Activity is a very important aspect of living in Blackley Premier Care. We offer a variety of activity programmes that encourage our residents to participate in our social events and themed evenings.   

We actively encourage family, relatives, and friends to join in all our activities.

Personal attention to grooming is provided by a hairdresser who visits weekly. We also have a visiting chiropodist; dentist and optician to ensure that individual health needs are met.

We always celebrate several residents birthdays at our monthly Birthday Party. We provide a fun filled afternoon with entertainers and a delightful buffet lunch. Family and friends are always welcome to come along and enjoy these lovely occasions.

A wide range of activities is on offer with an emphasis on one to one attention. Each resident has an individual care plan where hobbies and interests are recorded. This enables care staff to engage residents in activities that are personalized. We have a activity co-ordinator based at the home 4 days a week.

Activities are essential to help all our residents well-being. Activities range from simple arts and crafts, gentle exercise classes, to day trips for some or a cinema evening showing some of the old favourites. We help as much as we can with social interaction or in making sure residents can have as much quiet time as they need
